Officer Palace accepts a missing persons case just 77 days before the end of the world. As he follows clues to find the missing husband of his childhood babysitter, he forced to answer to himself why he is doing it. Why do we make, and why do we keep our promises?

The novelty of the situation wore off a little in the first book in the series and our protagonist is not quite nuanced enough a character to make this novel as interestig as I'd like.
