I didn't mean to stay up until 2 a.m. reading this, but here I am, and here we are. What an absolutely beautiful conclusion to Ally and Lisa's story. It was sexy, and funny enough to get me to laugh out loud several times, and romantic, and completely endearing. I did not plan to fall in love with the series, but I'm so glad I did. And now I am really looking forward to seeing how Sejic continues the story of all these wonderful characters with Mercy.

Nononononoooo how can it be over? I mean, it's awesome but it's oooover! And while Mercy will probably be great as well, it surely won't be another Sunstone... :'(

Sunstone isn't a book for everyone, but at it's heart, it's one of the sweetest love stories I've read in any medium. I'm looking forward to Mercy, Jasper, and whatever comes after.

Refreshingly honest about the flaws of humans, about the fear of rejection, the fear of being cast out. Gorgeous art style and intriguing writing.

“I guess that’s the side effect of getting your heart torn out. You are left with an echoey cavity that ends up just distorting everything you hear.”
Finally, feelings were admitted!! Their delimma with jealousy and lack of communication and misunderstanding was frustrating but I think i’m done with this series!

Sweet Jesus...

I'm not sure what hit harder, the fact that I didn't know I was reading the end of the story, or the fact that it was such an emotional, honest, and heartfelt conclusion!! If there's a waver in my voice in the next podcast episode it's because I had to record moments after finishing this story.

Part of me wants to continue on with "Mercy"...part of me just wants to stop here.
