The way Ana’s relationship with her ex was written very well. And the way Grant never gave up on her? So cute.

This book isn’t as well written as a few of the others in this series. The timeline doesn’t always add up, there are plot holes/things that don’t make sense, and there isn’t as much detail. It feels like this book was just quickly written because she needed to write another book without giving much thought to it. Also- there were definitely some inaccuracies making it feel inauthentic. I liked the main characters but it wasn’t enough to overcome all my other issues with this book. Similar to the second book, the serious issues in this book felt a little glossed over. Plus the ending was so convenient. Skip this one if you’re not into the whole series.
I guess I’m not into the pregnancy trope- at least not done the way it was here.

I love Grant. I love him. I love him. I love him. I felt so bad for Ana and wanted her to find her own footing and get settled, but I also hated how she kept Grant at arms length for so long. He was so patient and kind and just loved her so much. The little surprise in the middle kinda threw me for a loop and I lost a bit of interest, but I just wanted their love to build. This series for me has a 3 star rating overall, but it's an easy read and nice to just read in my downtime.

Started out great, but developed in a way that just went off the rails. I can’t put my finger on it, but multiple books in this series have this underlying conservative ideology where so-called strong women act out of character and end up in highly traditional relationships, acting in ways they have expressly said they didn’t want to. I really want to like this series, but these moments come across as preachy and unfitting with how the stories and characters begin. Teddy & Sara’s book was the only one that broke this pattern.
