This story was so fun! I can’t say enough nice things about it. I enjoyed every minute of it. The audio book is about twice the length of books I usually listen to and this didn’t once lag or drag or get boring. Every moment is an adventure. The characters are so well developed, and the plot is a thrilling ride. I’m obsessed with Amina, the lady pirate! I recommend it to everybody!

This was a fun seafaring adventure. I really enjoyed moments when it broke the fourth wall and I enjoyed Amina as a character. I did have some issues with how convoluted it gets in some places but overall, I enjoyed it.

I do not think this book is quite as good as Daevabad.
