What I liked:
✨Cults themes
✨Serial Killer named Father Silence and the potential copycat killer, Outcast
✨Police procedure: imperfect detective dealing with past trauma
✨Multiple versions of Noah

Where I struggled:
✨Large Cast - I found keeping track of all the characters while listening to the audio a little challenging.
✨Ending: A lot happens in a short span of time, which made me replay the ending twice to fully grasp it. I’m not sure I fully understood it all.

Lots of twists and turns, and some felt a little too far-fetched for me. But the story kept me interested and the ending made sense.

I think this was a case of a reader not realizing how much they dislike a genre. If you’re a horror lover, pick it up and try it. It has good reviews. I learned about half way through that while I love thrillers, I do not in fact love horror books.

~2.5 rounded up. Still a little unsure how I felt about this book, I think the whole cheater Justin thing really got swept under the rug and one punch didn’t settle his debt for me. There are still quite a few unanswered questions for me and I definitely thought the book was going to go in a different direction, but overall generally okay but not nearly as spooky as I was anticipating!

This book was a mess

It was okay. The plot can be kind of confusing in some parts because you jump back and forth and from past to future and even different characters. At one point I was confused. It started off strong and fast. The middle was kind of slow and a lot of backstory and plot thrown in. And the ending seemed a little rushed. I felt bad for Benjamin's ending. Overall, it is an okay read, especially if you like cults and psychology type of stuff

Man, I need to get a dead bolt for my door after reading this.

I love the horror and psychological thriller aspect of this. Copy cat killers fascinate me, as it inherently goes against the narcissistic need of serial killers. So, when I got the chance to read this book that examines not just a copy cat killer and how it terrifies people, but also the trauma of living after a serial killer terrorizes your town, I jumped on it. This book left me feeling really creeped out and scared, I had to lock my doors three times before I went to bed.

Thank you Netgalley and Crooked Lane Books for the ARC of this book!

This book had ZERO chill... and I loved it.
There were layers and layers to this, with barely any breathing room (in the best way possible).
Hidden secrets, kidnappings, murders, cults, OH MY!
If you want a fast-paced, full-of-action, spooky read, Sleep Tight is the book for you!

I listened to the audiobook of this, and loved the narration! I look forward to more spooky reads similar to this in the future!
