A masterclass in how to make a very irritating male love interest into a charming delightful one. The way he was apologizing at the end was deeply satisfying in a way that no other romance book has accomplished yet for me. I love Eliza, Mr Darcy, mr Bennett, Jane, and everyone else (even mr collins) so much I could hardly stand having to leave them and let the book close. I hope that my memory will let this book continually slip away and I will be allowed to read it again and again in utmost happiness.

Orgullo y Prejuicio es un libro que nunca pensé que llegaría a amar tanto como lo hice. No había visto la película hasta este año (lo que me llevo a empezar el libro) y me parece increíble haber logrado pasar tanto tiempo sin conocer a Mr. Darcy y caer enamorada de él también. Es una novela con un desarrollo algo lento que introduce tantos personajes que puede llegar a ser confuso, pero tiene un humor muy único y una manera muy especial de hacer referencias a otros sucesos en la historia. Especialmente cuando se trata de la relación de nuestros personajes principales, hay un tono muy específico que te hace sentirte familiar con ellos, como si estuvieras con ellos en este secreto de su amor escondido de cierta manera. Fue una buena lectura en general, y estoy emocionada por intentar leer algún otro libro de Jane Austen en el futuro.
