There was a lot happening here and it was too long and yet the ending wasn’t explained well enough? Yet I liked the two main characters quite a bit and the setting of the cargo ship was cool.

I honestly didn't know what to expect with this one and was pleasantly surprised. I am more of a dark nonfiction reader but I'd heard about the author and this book and happened to stumble across it at the library so I picked it up. I wanted something a little bit lighter to read. I saw some reviews saying that nothing really happens but I really enjoyed the characters and the story and I did not see the twist at the end coming. The thing that irritates me about most romance books is that the character development is oftentimes rushed. Characters who dislike each other are forced together too rapidly and it doesn't feel realistic to me. I really liked how this book took its time to explore the characters and as the plot moved along and people changed their minds or acted in certain ways, it just seemed to be so much more natural and didn't take me out of the story due to disbelief. This book was a delight!
