Whoa! At first I wasn't so sure about this book because it just seemed a bit different from the style and genres I'm used to. I tend to lean towards more romance type novels but recently have been into thriller more. Even so, I was pretty hooked from the beginning and I read this super fast for me. I did NOT see the twists coming. I had some predictions but most of them weren't right and I was left audibly gasping or saying "WHAT?!"

So gripping and dark! The story between mother and daughter just keeps twisting and I never knew whose side I was on. So happy to have read this to the end.

My jaw was on the floor a lot of the time, but I was never on the edge of my seat, if that makes sense. Lots of crazy surprises, but no teasers for them or suspense build up.
