What a wonderful story about kindness. Sometimes people don't want your kindness. It's sad but true. Coco is an African American girl who helps her friend the bear. There are two projects that take place in this story. It would be an opportunity to get creative with your young reader(s).

This one is a cute one with a good message. Not my favorite illustration or story, but I do like the messaging and thought it was a fun one.

I read this because this author/illustrator did the artwork for some of my favorite games from Grandpa Beck's Games.
I loved this story so much! The best quote is "Kindness is doing something nice without expecting to get anything in return." Such a needed reminder for our culture today.
