I thought the last 2 books were VERY slow and a little pointless at times but this is one I really enjoyed. I believe this is the shortest WoT book outside of the prequel novel and it helped the story move. I enjoyed the Rand, Elayne and Min POVs (although the relationship is VERY weird). Nynaeve was probably the least annoying she has been the entire series and that was a plus. The only negative was Mat’s POV which mostly consists of him ogling women and trying to leave.

First re-read:

I mean... You know the deal by now: This book is clearly a 5/5 stars and whoever says otherwise is wrong. That last chapter alone is among the greatest endings in any fantasy book ever.
