Murder mysteries are not my favorite genre but this series i cannot put down. I love the range of characters, the twists in plot, the themes beyond the mystery, the connections and emotions of people and how it plays out. I was also excited to find out that the books are written by husband wife duo - which i think explains some of the flow and the range of characters that are developed.

The more I read from the duo "Lars Kepler" the more hooked up I get. Their novels are very fast paced, entertaining and full of twists and turns. It's definitely a "weekend" or easy read if you want to disconnect a bit and just loose yourself in a thrilling mystery. The characters are decently formed, with enough info about them to get the picture, but not enough to become boring.

To be precise, I would rate it with 4.5 stars.
I didn't like how the authors tried to build interest and tension early on in the book, it felt really forced. But as the story went on everything fell right to its place and the plot is interesting. It seemed like a miracle at the end when Joona managed to shoot a bodyguard and Raphael with the same bullet in all that chaos, plus having a migrene, but honestly, I'm just glad that the book had a happy end. Big thanks to the authors for writing what happened with other characters and not just finishing the story after the end of a big mission. All in all, I enjoyed reading this book and I'm planning to read all of them in this series.

http://teklakonyvei.blogspot.hu/2014/10/lars-kepler-paganini-szerzodes.html
