I wasn't sure about this book but so many things kept drawing me in, little references that I really loved. It's a nice short read and I'm really excited to get started on the next book to find out what happens.

Reverse harem with sooo many tropes, I'm loving it, they all have something different and I can't wait to see how they end up!

Academy of Six (Book One) by A K Koonce and Aleera Anaya Ceres

THIS BLOODY BOOK!

Izara has been sent to the academy of six, a reforming school for people with out of control prods, after her prod killed her ex boyfriend. The issue is, she doesn’t know what her prod is and can’t remember anything about the incident. Labeled a feck (non prod kind) she quickly forms bonds with her all male roomates, Saint, a vampire, Malik a wolf shifter and Phonenix, a soulless incubus, alongside her “angel” Syko. Spark fly between them all, Phonenix taking the role of Izara’s fake boyfriend to protect her, they race against the clock to figure out Izzy’s prod before it’s too late.

Omg i could not put this book down. An academy fantasy romance? Fake boyfriend? Fiesty female main character? Who did this too you trope and A REVERSE HARAM? What more could you want?

The book was brilliant, I loved the multiple POV’s and getting to know and understand the dynamics of the characters as they navigated their way through the first term of the academy. The exploration that started with each of their backgrounds, the morally grey characters and development of relationships between one another had me struggling to leave the book alone despite it being way past my bedtime. The raw chemistry between the characters, including Saint and Phoenix was such an interesting and well written dynamic, despite most characters not having known each other for too long. The dream scene as well

Hmmm

Not entirely sure what’s going on. She has no idea what she is. But she’s attached to the guys in her dorm. She’s slept with the two of them and destroyed a building. Letting someone else take the blame.
