The character Jamie had so much potential. He was treated unfairly. I felt like I kept waiting for something dramatic to happen and it just…never did. Will’s treatment of Fern at the end infuriated me. And his excuses are not good enough to warrant her getting back together with him.

there’s no real reason i gave this 2 stars other than that i’m from toronto and i just can’t romanticize the sewer ass city like that. it was also a little bit of a slow burn and when they started fooling around a hundred pages before the book was done i was highkey STRESSED. however the ending had me squealing since i’m a whore for happy endings
