Maybe it had just been too long since I read the prequel, [b:The Sky Inside|1971504|The Sky Inside|Clare B. Dunkle|http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51HalUXBJ0L._SL75_.jpg|1365616] or maybe I've just REALLY moved past the age range these books are written for, but I found it to be tedious and not all that interesting.

Eh. I liked this about as much as I did the first one. The characters don't jump off the page and demand you connect with them, and the technology is all so convenient for anything Martin needs to do. Not even just the technology, but just about everything in the world becomes super-convenient at the exact moment Martin needs it to be.
Oh, and the apparently sentient blanket-thing? Seriously?

I liked it but it lacked detail and to be honest, I think the ending was rushed.
