Audio book read by Norm. That was good. I love hearing the actual comedians read their work--their sense of timing is much appreciated for the actual jokes they've written in the prose. Too many meandering off shoots into fictional territory for me. I'd preferred the real "true" story than the fabricated "true" story that Macdonald focuses on too much.

The best book I've ever read by my favourite comedian of all time. Part memoir, part absurd fiction.
Norm hits the road with trusty sidekick Adam Eget and relives tales of his career as a stand-up comedian and his time on Saturday Night Live.
Norm also reflects back on some of his wilder antics, like the time he smuggled a terminally ill child out of the country on a seal clubbing expedition.
What's fact and what's fiction is for you to decide yourself.
I would recommend this book to anybody but I will say that a great deal of the enjoyment I got from the book is due to a previous knowledge of Norms work, running gags, turns of phrase etc.
But if you are a Norm fan then you will 100% love this book.
