Oh Nicole, you did a phenomenal job with this book. You truly hit it out of the park for me and to be honest I really am not surprised. You’re an extraordinary author that I absolutely love and appreciate. I will always sing your praises Nicole. This book was a chefs kiss, because it was an action packed from the beginning to the end. This book was a roller coaster that took me only one day to listen to. If you love a book that has the main male character falling in love first, you better buy this book right now.

This is an emotional novella. This book is about Sawyer and Naomi. Naomi is on a work trip with her brother. They are driving together and decided to have a good time at a country western karaoke bar. She had been burned by her ex-fiancé six years ago. She was cornered by a drunk that was not taking no for an answer, when Sawyer stepped in and pretended to be her husband. Sawyer is a Sergeant and is newly divorced. Naomi and Sawyer hit it off and both agree to one amazing night together. So much happens in such a small amount of time. Love, betrayal, heartbreak and full circle back to love. Rose Dioro and Joe Arden did a fantastic job narrating this book in duet narration.

I loved the characters and the plot of this story and I honestly wished their was more of it! It felt very rushed.
I listened to the audiobook and this was a tasty treat for Nicole Fans! Narrated in Duet by Rose Dioro and Joe Arden, this novella is a wonderful second-chance military romance. Nicole's fantastic writing genuinely shines with this narrator duo. Naomi and Sawyer have instant and electric chemistry when they meet. The story starts off with high drama before unraveling a story love, loyalty, and suspense. Nicole delivers all the heart and the spice.
