I really enjoyed this, while it did drag at times I still thought it was a really interesting concept and also super creepy

Well it’s my least favorite of Adams’ books but it was still pretty good. Had me on the edge for most of the book. I think it was the ghost aspect that made it less enjoyable, the other three were very realistic and that made it terrifying. This wasn’t and I think that’s why I gave it four stars instead of 5.

This one dragged quite a bit for me in the middle of the book and I had to fight to power through here. Not Taylor's best work.

I couldn’t fully get into this book. I think mainly because I am not usually a big fan of paranormal novels but I still gave it a chance.
It started off okay, I could feel the anticipation build up. The book takes place in a 24 hour span so I figured it would be fast paced and keep me engaged counting down the hours and minutes with the chapters.
Midway through the book, however, I found myself disengaged. I have an imagination but there was just TOO much to take in and imagine. Too many other worlds and unrealistic visions I just couldn’t conjure up.
It was just “okay” for me.

I went into this completely blind, just because I liked No Exit so much. I ended up listening to the entire audiobook in one day which I think is a first for me.

I’ve never read anything like this. It’s going to be one of the anomalies on my read shelf that I think about for years to come. This was such a unique format and story and it gripped me. I am definitely going to keep reading all of this author’s work.

PS, if you’re one of my friends who are sensitive to the paranormal/supernatural, proceed with caution. This isn’t just a thriller.
