This movie is one I watched with my mom. We loved it. So naturally I had to check out the book. It was a wonderful listen. It was funny and sad and brutally honest. We’ve all been there. When is enabling too much? When is enough is enough?

I read this one after I saw the Movie. I think that movie was good, but it changed how I viewed the story a bit. I do see the value in understanding where the other person is coming from. A quick read, I enjoyed it.

Better than the movie, of course.

I liked the book! The movie did it no justice. I highly recommend this one

I enjoyed this so much more than the other Jennifer Weiner book I read, even though there were parts that were PAINFUL for me to read. I have never seen the movie, and now I can't wait to do so. As my dear friend Janalee puts it, it is refreshing to read a book where everybody makes progress and yet still retain some of their flaws.

This was a light, fun book. It was a battle of sisters, one who has everything except the looks and the other who has nothing but the looks. Rose was a delightful character as I could picture myself as her. I did enjoy the super feel good ending.

Great exploration of female familial relationships. The resolution occurs a little too quickly at the ending, but otherwise Weiner seems very willing to show the messy side of sisterly and motherly love.
