If you're a fan of Disney's Tangled and/or a lover of art and animation, I'd surely recommend this Art of book to you in a heartbeat. Chocked full of original sketches, concept designs, and input from many of the incredible talents who worked on the film, (including the ever talented Glen Keane!) this book will be hard pressed to disappoint the art or Disney enthusiast.

I was a big big fan of the movie Tangled. Like, I loved it more than the average 6 year old girl. And I am now a big big fan of this book. Such fun to page through the gorgeous illustrations, and read more about the making of the film. I esp. liked all of Claire Keane's work. Glen Keane also had a lot of good stuff. And all the scenery.

I LOVE the movie Tangled so freaking much! It's one of my absolute favorites Disney princess movies nay one of my favorite movies period! It's charming and funny and cute and visually stunning, so I liked reading this book to get a behind the scenes look at how it all came together from the scraped idea to the new idea for the story to the storyboards to the characters to the setting and more. A great read for anyone who adores this film!

If you know me personally, you're probably very aware of the fact that I am obsessed with Tangled. I finally got to sit down and read through this stunning book and it's just so interesting to see how this movie I've been obsessed with came together all those years ago.

My mum got this for me (thanks Mum!) and it was such a great present. I loved reading it. It was so interesting to me as a Graphic Design (and a dabbling illustrator) to see how these professionals went from one stage to the next. The illustrations were so beautiful! When I watched Tangled again, I found myself paying more attention to the beautiful illustrations on the walls of Rapunzel's tower and appreciating them a lot more. I also love the idea behind them: that Rapunzel draws as she is learning new things about the world and, at the start of the story, the walls are almost full - it's time for her to see the world. Making me tear up a bit.
