Light easy to read. This one is best done after book 2 as it starts right off as the other one ended. A good wrap point made if this is end of the series with enough loops open for further ones.

Loved this book so much. Bummed that it's the last one! Didn't know it would only be a trilogy. Still, my favorite of all three. So much going on. Loved the characters.....still wishing I could spend more books with them!

I got bored in the middle of this one. That has never happened to me before, not even with Saint's Astray, which has a similar lull in the action. I think maybe I was tired of listening to Daisy whiffle. However, the climactic scene, I felt that in my bones. I felt Daisy's terror and anguish. I'm glad Daisy is happy now. But unlike the rest of Ms. Carey's novels, which I can re-read may times over, I won't be revisting Pemkowet for a good long while.

I am tired of love triangles popping up in my paranormal reading.

I was annoyed by the gratuitous pop-references and loose plot pacing, but I think the most condemning element was my lack of emotional investment in Daisy. By the time we reached the final battle, I didn't really care what happened.

Excellent finish to an enjoyable trilogy about a half-demon peace-keeper/liaison for a Norse goddess in small town, USA.

A bit of an angsty love triangle (but it ends! and not everyone involved is an immature jerk!). Otherwise a fun, modern-day romp with fey creatures and mythology. Definitely read them in order-- this one builds heavily on the previous two.

Great fun read I literally stayed up until two in the morning to finish.

Even though I haven't read the earlier books I the series there was enough"remember when"material to get me up to speed without it being to annoying.

This is the kind of magic I can dig. It's got rules, and a logical basis behind it that makes it easy to swallow.

The characters are what you'd expect from this author without being repetitive. There's a rainbow of real people in here.

Now I've got to backtrack and start with book one.
Recommended to anyone who thought the book blurb sounded fun.
