“SHE'LL REACH THE NPA BUILDING IN ABOUT FIVE MINUTES…”

“THINK...
HOW DO I FIND OUT HER
NAME IN FIVE MINUTES?”

This whole volume is very depressing and frightening with how far Light is willing to go to create his new world without any crime (oh the irony). I felt so bad for Raye Penber and the other FBI agents he killed, and Naomi Misroa, Penber’s fiancée, was just at the wrong place at the wrong time. I love how quick L is to jump on suspecting Light, and this hunch sticks with him until his final moments.

These books are really fucking weird.

And yet I can't seem to fight the compulsion to continue reading them at a rapid pace.

If I saw correctly, there are 6 volumes, and I'm absolutely certain they're not going to catch Light and take him down and this BOTHERS ME because he's a little shit.

Ugh.

I honestly don’t know who to root for. Light or L. Lights clearly a bit insane thinking he can make a utopia but L is an investigator trying to stop mass murders. I think Ryuk has the right idea “I’m not on your side or his side.”

Just as good as the first. I love the cat and mouse game of L and Light. But honestly, Ryuk is my favorite. He's such a chaotic force.
