Cookies for My Orc Neighbor can be read as a standalone, but is part of an interconnected novella series with multiple POV's and ends in a HEA.

The story follows Alden, an Orc descended from wild Orcs that has been cast out by society and deemed "dangerous", and Grace, a sweet human woman who likes to bake and has a crush on Alden and lives next door to him.

Insta-love and neighbors to lovers, the whole book happens quickly and they fight their attraction for a very short time before giving in. I enjoyed the book and the characters in it. I like how when someone isn't rejected they didn't lash out super horribly... Definite chemistry between the characters even if Alden is oblivious to that fact she lives nest door to him.

This was cute. It felt underdeveloped though and I wish the author had spent more time on it

This was a great palette cleanser, adorable. I love wholesome neighbors to lovers trope and this was a good example of that. The characters were fun and I enjoyed reading.

Instalust that quickly becomes “you are my life now” with no inbetween, but very sweet HEA.
