I did cry over a lot of this book, as SJM is able to make me care about her characters despite my misgivings. I felt very jerked around by this story, both plot and character development wise, but ultimately understand what people are saying about the story getting better as it progresses. However, her treatment of her one character of color in this book is really difficult to support and definitely needs to be highlighted.

I loved this book from cover to cover. The relationships that are formed…and distroyed in this book really made it. You start to see some of the characters grow into themselves and stand up for what they believe in. In true SJM fashion, the last 150 pages had me crying, throwing this book across the room, and down right stunned. As this is just book TWO!
