Beautiful. My library has both the Spanish and the English editions, so I read both.

A beautiful immigrant's story about change and culture. I really enjoyed the beautiful illustrations and the passion for Quintero's hometown.

I love the illustrations in this book. I also love how the author uses Spanish and English to tell the story. Such a sweet father-daughter book.

Such a nice read! I wish there’d been more literature like this when I was a kid.

Gorgeous art for a fun, uplifting story of father-daughter bonding and community identity. “Home is a feeling you take with you” ❤️❤️❤️

I read this with my 7 and 11 year old boys. I loved this book. The illustrations really uplifted the Mexican American culture of Southern California. The storyline was really quite sweet -- a father and his young daughter taking a ride through their hometown that they love. I love the inclusion of Spanish in the text, which is useful for my oldest who is learning Spanish.
