(Spoiler-free review) I came across Peachy by pure luck, and I am so very glad I did. This was a wild ride and I enjoyed every second of it - I believe there are two more instalments already planned to this series and I can't wait!

This story involves both a central hetero relationship (I am team Ben all the way), and our new "friend". The relationship dynamics are great but at the forefront of this story is our main characters development as she discovers her reality, and the fascinating and sometimes grotesque world this group of witches experience. It's fucked up and it's so very fun.

If you liked Bunny by Mona Awad, this is bunny adjacent. I'd absolutely recommend listening to the authors playlist (I uploaded it to Spotify in chapter order) as it fits the reading experience really well.

It's written so well I wouldn't have believed it to be a first-time author, it flows and the descriptions are perfection. This will easily be one of my favourite books of the year and has a position of one of my all-time favourites.

[This eARC was generously given to me via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.]

I received an ARC of this and there are so many things I can say about this book!
First, I enjoyed this story immensely.
Camri Kohler is an excellent writer. Peachy is creative, amusing and very scary at times.

Frankie is a fantastic protagonist. She’s very relatable in the sense that she isn’t your cliché main character. She burps, has piles of dirty laundry and struggles with motivation to go to work; I’m here for it!

While mourning the death of her grandmother, Frankie has to come to terms with a part of herself she didn’t know, and that dominoes into a very messy, and deadly, adventure.

It took no time at all for me to fall in love with the different characters and their unique abilities. I love how they mold into her own little family. They are the Breakfast Club of Aspen Ridge. I don’t want to play favorites, but Ben will forever have my heart.

Peachy is a perfectly balanced blend of hilarious banter, intense action, with a touch of sexual tension all wrapped in spells and dark magic.

The detail of Camri’s writing made every moment so clear, I couldn’t put it down!
This is definitely on my re-read list and I’m having the hardest time waiting patiently for the rest of the series to come out.
Hands down, one of the best books I’ve ever read!

A friend gifted me an audiobook code for this book, and I’m leaving this review voluntarily. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

An amazingly seamless mixture of urban fantasy and horror. Incredibly and horrifyingly vivid descriptions, lovable characters, and laugh out loud witty banter made this a really fun, albeit unsettling at times, listen from start to finish.

I will definitely be picking up the sequel!
