This one departs from Christie’s usual mysteries in that it is set in ancient Egypt amidst court intrigue. It also differs in that it was relatively “easy” to figure out. A fun and different mystery.

Yeah, I just don't think [a:Agatha Christie|123715|Agatha Christie|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1589991473p2/123715.jpg] is for me. I love the David Suchet versions; those really are amazing. But the books kinda drag on. I get the background, which is important, but Poirot only shows up halfway through, and doesn't really investigate! He just interviews people and then goes on his usual explanation, which is like a huge chunk of the book! I wanted him to find the evidence, and piece it all together, not just look at the crime from the outside and work all of it out in his head. I don't know if I'll read another one of her books soon; sure they're short, but they just don't do it for me.

Los casos de Poirot son mis favoritos y, en casos como éste, en que se desarrolla al rededor de una familia extraña, me interesan aún más.

Loved the plot and writing. Hated the casual and constant racism and misogyny.

I think I'm a Christie stan now and I'm here for in. Another lovely installment of murder mystery fun.

I loved all the psychology talk in this.

De verdad disfruto mucho leer a Agatha Christie, es perfecta para mantenerte atenta al misterio y sacarte de cualquier bloqueo lector.
