Right for the Halloween Season

I thought it was a spooky/paranormal romance but it wasn't spooky at all, just right for the season. It's a friends-to-lovers trope and I would also consider it a second chance. Both characters meet during their childhood and were all friends in the same group.

I really enjoyed the first 3/4 of this book.

Something about the way the gay characters were written in this book just didn’t sit right.

In the Book, the brother of the MC has a Halloween wedding, and one of the officiants of the wedding was… Ronald Regan?! The same Ronald Regan who ignored the aids pandemic?? Like… 

I hate that I get hung up on details like this, but seriously WTAF.

Notes: takes place near Portland Oregon. Joey is Latina and Chris is white.
