One of those books that was just perfect for me. Deliciously quirky characters and a focus on learning to communicate. Love ❤️

I had been anticipating this book by Camilla Evergreen and it did not disappoint! I couldn’t put it down and when I had to, I couldn’t wait to get back to it!
Camilla is soooo good at writing MMCs who fall first and are completely GONE for their FMCs! This was another example of that! Oh sweet Liam

Before I begin, I would like to thank Camilla Evergreen for allowing me to read a copy of her upcoming book, Unwillfully Wed to My Valentine, the first book of the Fire at Will duology, which will be available on Amazon on February 4th, 2025.
During high school, Amber signed a marriage pact with William Carrick on a Taco Bell napkin with a Mild sauce stain. Years later, Liam is a billionaire CEO that is absolutely grumpy, serious, and a lover of cute things. Convinced that she is the cutest thing he ever laid eyes on, Liam arrives to collect on their terms of agreement. With mandatory Valentine activities, cute plushies, and a fortuitous napkin, can Amber survive marriage with William for one year?
I loved this book so much. You have Amber, a sassy, determined, talented and beautiful young author that's struggling to gain readers long-term. You have Liam, a serious, grumpy, considerate, and handsome young man that is obsessed with Amber in the best ways possible and loves cute things (including classic Barbie *internal fanpersoning*). Brian is such an icon and I love the Valentine events. Ruby is fantastic and I love the attention Evergreen brings to people's opinions (ableist and advocate) for those with disabilities and those trying to make their way into the world without losing themselves. The interactions and nicknames between the two characters were beautifully written, and I cheered for both of them throughout the story. Overall, if you like marriage pacts, cute things, fantastic banter, wonderful found family dynamics, Taco Bell, and sweet enemies-to-lovers romance with low amounts of spice, then I would highly recommend this book. Another stunner
I have loved everything I have read by Camila evergreen. This is yet another stunner of a book. It was so fun and funny from the beginning. I love the progression of the relationship, the struggle with some of the more difficult parts of their past together and their presence together I love how analytical the beginning of their marriage was and how much of it was just straight up a contract it was just beautifully done. I love the contradictions in here. The absolute differences between the two love interests. I cannot stop giggling and chuckling and just being absolutely getting the entire time I read this and every time I sit down and really think it through. I'm sitting here writing this review and I can't stop giggling and smiling as I think through the book. I highly recommend this book. 5 and 1/2 Stars

I really enjoy Camilla Evergreen novels - usually. I still liked reading this but, it was somehow unpleasant upon reflection. Plus, there were a lot of unexplored aspects of the story and very little character growth. It just seemed rushed... the MMC didn't do it for me while the fmc was too shallow for me to really understand. It was a miss for me, yet I foresee more Camilla Evergreen in my future.
2.5 stars. So ending got sweeter but was a little bit of a slog. I felt I could have used more prologue to set them up and was sort of dumped into their quirky relationship.
A marriage pact written on a Taco Bell napkin? A grumpy billionaire CEO with a secret love for cute things? A forced proximity romance wrapped in workplace chaos? Unwillfully Wed to My Valentine delivers all of this and more in a perfectly swoony, laugh-out-loud closed-door romcom. Here’s what made it unforgettable:
