I was excited for the premise, and I had heard and seen things about this. I liked the chemistry between the two of them, but I had several issues with how things were resolved. Personally it didn't live up to the hype.

Brendan became extremely unlikeable to me when he felt no remorse for his actions and how he treated Marlowe up until he found out she was a mother with an ill child. How about because she was a person? One whom he loved at that. The grovel was okay, but not anything spectacular, though I think my grovel standards are quite high.
