Between Hob’s Leviathan and the last chapter with the (spoiler redacted) in the sky scene, it’s perfect. 10/10, no notes.

Another volume where many of the Endless take a backseat for secondary characters, I found this one to be an interesting collection. I would have liked to know more about some of the other characters and some of the stories were a little slow, but many of them were gems. I truly found Prez's story to be the most compelling and I would love to see him in future volumes. Beautiful writing and unique artwork as always. This series is truly unlike anything I've ever read.

Stories told around a table at a pub at the end of the world, a nice range of topics that kept things pacy throughout.

Not my favorite of the series, but still objectively great. Very little of the Sandman himself in this volume - mostly just a collection of short stories. It seems that's sort of the direction this series is headed in, and that works quite well for me since I am averaging a month or more between volumes. This is a great series to pick up and put down without feeling like you've forgotten anything important.
