My review may be a little unfair. Because honestly Kristen Proby is a wonderful writer. May be I just pick up the wrong genre of book. This book is great if you are looking for nothing, and I mean nothing but SMUT. The book started out with a simingly good strong plot, but it disappeared once the clothing started coming off. I feel torn because I have heard such good things about this book, and Im just sitting here sratching my head. I had to Force myself into reading the last 1/4 of the book. I was bored and just skimming through all of the sex.
So yeah I guess this one wasnt for me.

I loved these two together, and I love how even in the sequels, they are still always kissing and touching and Jules is still giving them crap about it. I'm so glad Nat told Sam off too. God she was such a snotty b!tch, even in her own book.

I tried reading this a LONG while back, I'm not even sure if it was this year, and I hated every second of it. The insta love was nauseating, and I couldn't figure out where the big hype for the novel came from.

I don't remember much of the detail about the story itself, but I remember the strong dislike it evoked in me for sure.

I do kind of consider going back to it and giving it a second chance just because I had read Proby's Listen to Me and really liked it, but whether I could convince myself to do that is left to be seen.

7/23/21 I had read the book many years ago. I then binged the series. Now it is time to binge all the audiobooks. I don't remember blushing so much when I read the book. The dynamics between Natalie and Luke are very entertaining. The family conflicts are even more entertaining.

This was enticing and sexy. There was a lot of toe curling moments.

“He could melt glaciers with that smile. End wars. Resolve the national debt crisis.”

The moment Luke met Natalie was real entertaining. He thought she was taking pictures of him and he wanted to take her camera from her but she did not let him have it. She showed him the pictures she took and none of the pictures she took has him in it. They had a connection that she felt and later that day she ran into him again and he asked her out.

“Be happy for this moment. This moment is your life.”

She had a hard life losing her parents and he made her happier in life. She smiled more in life. He liked her moment he figured out that she did not know he was. She was refreshing for him and he did not want to tell her who he was because he was scared she would act differently. She found out about him in an unexpected way and she was so angry that day that they nearly broke up because of it but she went to him the next day to talk about it. He was so romantic with her that she was starting to fall in love with him. He took her to meet his family and she stood up for him against his sister and his mother noticed that she might love him.

“Because you're the first woman I've brought into my home and all I can think about is getting your beautiful body naked and fucking you senseless. I need to know if there is any competition. I don't share, Natalie.”

I loved there relationship and how they thought to be together. They had some hard times and nearly lost each other but they got together in the end and everyone in Natalie’s adoptive family loved Luke and everyone in Luke’s family love her except Sam but later when they nearly lost Luke in an accident they got closer so now they have a better relationship. I really loved this because there love was so romantic and had me gooey inside most of the time.

I loved that Natalie wasn't a size 2 but a woman with curves. I loved that, while they're romance was quick, their hearts were open from the start. Yes they were both cautious, but that didn't stop either of them from falling in love with the other so quickly.

Luke definitely is a very private man, but a fiercely protective man at that and it shows from the very beginning of the book.

I very much loved this book.
