DNF ~ there's absolutely nothing romantic about rape. Molly needs some serious time in therapy and a restraining order against her.

5 Slytherin Stars

Another lake house paperback. Well...
Some of this was terrific. Some was hugely problematic. Some of the bits that I liked didn't make sense with other bits.

this was an improvement to the chicago stars books. although once again, SEP has the WACKEST ways of getting characters together.
Spoilermolly sleeps with kevin while he is asleep and non consenting how romantic...
i really cant understand the level of NICE kevin had to be to care about molly, following everything that occurred when she found out she was pregnant. from agreeing to the marriage to pulling her out of her depressive state. that man was sent from the gods, and i hope molly mf knows it. she had multiple screws loose, but what made it work was that it seemed like kevin had a couple loose himself. they were both daredevils who sought for the thrill of life, and while kevin managed to do this withOUT hurting others, molly was just a little more oblivious during her episodes of daring... regardless, SEP made this work and by the end, i was rooting for them *sigh* more importantly, as juvenile as molly was, i enjoyed that she at least had SOME kind of backbone, unlike the heroines of the past two installments. also, the daphne and benny chapter intros were pretty cute. much better than some useless fake deep quotes some authors try to use to set the mood of the chapter.

Phoebe's kid-sister, Molly, writes picture books and spends time with her nieces and nephews. That's about it. Oh! And she daydreams about the Stars' daring quarterback, Kevin Tucker. Until they end up crashing into one another - in more than one sense of the term.
