Read to me by Dawn French! Beautiful heart warming funny story about Hope whose baby is still born and who walks out of the hospital with Anna’s baby. Just love Dawn French’s complete disdain for arrogant idiot Tory brexiteer politicians and the hilarious nit wit lead copper who was the “head poncho” in the investigation. The ending oh the ending hankies definitely needed.

A book full of heart, gut and soul. The ending in particular was really poignant if cheesy, but it made me weep on my way home.

It’s a slower book, and I didn’t know where the book was going most of the time. But the ending came out of left field, using a sad yet over dramatic trope. NGL, the ending soured the book for me a bit.
