I loved it, I definitely cried.

This book was really great for what it was. Keep in mind, it's a feel-good (or heartbreaking/sad depending on which point you're at) book. Nothing that's going to make you think or change your world. But for what it is, it was so good. I'm not even a big dog person (I can't believe with what they put up with!) but even I started to fall in love with Marley.

well written. any animal lover will enjoy and need several boxes of tissue toward the end.

I wanted to read something light and was kind of rolling my eyes as I started it but as the story progressed and I let go a little, I ended up enjoying it. I appreciate the perseverance and love of the author and his wife, they did not give up even though this dog was an immense challenge, they saw so much good in him and that speaks to me as a lover of dogs.

The must for any dog owners. There is even a children's book called "Bad Dog Marley" and Brenden will not go to bed without hearing "Mawley"

I laughed, I cried... I won't tell you anything because I am sure you can guess why.

This boom is so reminiscent of life with my dogs. I laughed and cried through this book, and like all similar stories, I am always happy to read a story of a dog loved and cherished so much by his humans.

Very enjoyable read --- you'll laugh and cry! A must-read for all animal lovers and anyone who has ever owned a dog!

I feel like being a dog person makes this book better. It made me laugh and made me cry.

That said, yes there might have been more things the owners could have done to help the poor dog adjust, but this book is for entertainment, not a training guide.

I like how the story progressed with the dog, it was about LIFE not just the dog's life, but the owner's lives.

Very easy, enjoyable read. I found myself stopping and putting the book down because I didn't want to read the ending. We all know what happens.

It could be that I really enjoyed this book because I have a house full of animals and some of them have made me crazy but like the author, we still love them. Also as a shelter volunteer you realize how many animals like Marley don't have the patient families like the author's and end up in the shelters.

Funny antecdotes and a quick read.
