Marley & Me

John Grogan

I suggest anyone that's recently lost a pet read this. It's a beautiful, touching book. It's really well written and makes you laugh and cry right along with John Grogan. Don't watch the movie.

I can't give it a rating. It's a DNF mostly because I watched the Happier music video by Marshmello and I can't take it reading this book knowing how it ends. So it's just out. Sorry John Grogan. <3 you

Cleverly written and fun to read...this book reminded me why I want to be dog owner so badly! Despite the wrecking ball that Marley was, you couldn't help but love him.

Loved this book. The only book that has ever made me cry while reading.

Even though I could hardly be described as an animal lover, I still really loved the story of Marley and his fam. Now to see the movie.

Do not read unless you want to cry.

So many tears!

I loved this book! I'm a little nervous about the movie - Owen Wilson as John...hmmm. I just hope it captures the relationship this family had with their beloved dog!

Every dog owner should read this book. Even if you never have owned a Lab. I laughed so hard reading this book, thinking many times, 'yup, that's my dog'.

You could just imagine Grogan sitting there tell you this story and everyone listening is having gut wrenching laughing.

Of course, the ending is sad and the only 2nd book that has ever made me cry. I mean you can guess what happens. :( No matter how hard it was to read that part of the book you know it's just part of life.

But if you're a dog owned this book doesn't make you laugh out loud, there is something seriously wrong with you. :)

I enjoyed this sentimental memoir about life with a joyful, rambunctious dog. Animal lovers will relate to this sweet story.
