Every dog owner should read this book. Even if you never have owned a Lab. I laughed so hard reading this book, thinking many times, 'yup, that's my dog'.
You could just imagine Grogan sitting there tell you this story and everyone listening is having gut wrenching laughing.
Of course, the ending is sad and the only 2nd book that has ever made me cry. I mean you can guess what happens. :( No matter how hard it was to read that part of the book you know it's just part of life.
But if you're a dog owned this book doesn't make you laugh out loud, there is something seriously wrong with you. :)

I enjoyed this sentimental memoir about life with a joyful, rambunctious dog. Animal lovers will relate to this sweet story.
I laughed out loud and I cried! Very few books do that to me. I am a total dog lover and totally fell in love with this book.
I laughed, I cried, I hugged my dogs, and I read it in two days. All good signs of a wonderfully uplifting story of a dog and his human!
I absolutely love this book. It made me laugh, it made me cry, and most importantly, I truly connected with it. Honestly, not much else needs to be said. If you are a dog lover, read this!
This book was great. Truly reflects the love of a dog over the years.
This book was an absolute joy to read. It flowed so smoothly. It was lighthearted but it did make me cry. I was totally engrossed in the book and didn't want to put it down.
I can’t get past how negligent the owners are on the story.
