Slightly annoyed this was touted as a stand-alone that could be read as the fourth in the Hopeless series. Imagine my annoyance when there’s only a small mention of a crossover in the epilogue. I’d have rather finished the series and read this on its own later.

With that being said, I loved this book. It was suspenseful without being dramatic. And the ending was perfect. Without giving spoilers, I was worried the ending would negate the rest of the book; when it didn’t, I gained a big appreciation for CoHo’s coverage of the subject.

The miscommunication trope is annoying, but in this book I feel like it’s real. This form of miscommunication and shutting down happens so often in relationships. I also enjoyed how the over came being child free. It shows that love should be greater than children, and as a child free person I appreciate that a lot. This book had me feeling lots of emotions, and was an enjoyable read

Quinn annoyed me a lot. Graham was perfect up until… but i liked the fact that we got to see why he fell in love with her. and that Graham had flaws too. was a good ending. read it quickly. but some lazy and annoying writing. cried a lot. this book is rough
