At once totally insurmountable and enthralling, deals with heavy topics way ahead of the time this story was written and yet does so with a prose so easy to read and enjoy it’s almost unsettling. Like, why isn’t this harder to read? And yet thank goodness I’m following along so well.

Somehow I always forget just how funny AND dark this one is. Like, it's legitimately hilarious at times, while also managing to make my skin crawl with the implications. Good stuff.
