i love the book, but god damned it i hate the fooking ending. Why did you have to throw so much heart break into one book?First killing off a good character,a meaningful one.then making the life of those closest to him topsy turvy with that one move you made.
Then why do you keep making maven abuse mare....that is so cruel.i hate maven...kill him off already. The events started from maven's capture of mare was interesting.but hate the ending of what cal did....not forgiving you ever...nopes

3.5 Stars. Don’t get me wrong it’s still a good story, but the 3rd installment was just slow, drawn out, and a bit torturous. It took me a month to read it b/c it just didn’t hold my interest enough. Things got exciting at the end and of course ended on a cliffhanger, but it’s not enough for me to continue onto the fourth book right now. I need a break from Mare, Cal, and Maven so I have decided to move on onto something else for a bit. I will pick this series back up at a later date as I do want to see it through, but not right now.

I loved this installment so much! It made up for me not loving the second book!

I had a hard time getting through this book, about 200 pages in it took all my willpower not to dnf. I feel it should have been shorter then 500 pages. I hope warstorm is not the same, as it's even longer.
