Mi sarebbe davvero piaciuto dare di più a questo libro ma ci sono troppi contro.
La prima metà del libro è veramente troppo lenta. La prigionia di Mare è stata una fatica da leggere, ma è stato interessante conoscere di più il personaggio di Maven. Non mi piace, non lo idolatro, non mi fa pena, però è un cattivo davvero complesso e subdolo (il mio genere preferito di antagonista). La sua ossessione per Mare mi faceva venire i brividi.
Un'altra pecca sono stati i capitoli dal punto di vista di Cameron. Noisosi, e lei mi sta leggermente antipatica. L'ho preferita durante la seconda metà del libro (forse perché è apparsa poco?).
Della seconda metà del libro mi è piaciuto tutto. Soprattutto le scene di azione. Sembrava di essere davvero lì.
Mare Barrow è diventata cazzutissima. Lei mi piace tantissimo. Nemmeno la prigionia ha smorzato il suo carattere forte.
Se nei libri precedenti Cal mi era indifferente, in questo l'ho amato (anche se durante l'epilogo sono rimasta delusa).
Un altro personaggio che ho apprezzato è stata Evangeline. I suoi capitoli mi hanno fatto comprendere di più la sua situazione e mi spiace un sacco per lei.
Sono incuriosita tantissimo dalla principessa Iris, sento che mi piacerà. Come si evolverà la situazione attuale?
Con il quarto libro già in libreria, in tutta la sua bellezza, fremo nel continuare questa saga.

I would've liked to give more to this book but there are too many cons.
The first half of the book is really too slow. Mare's imprisonment was hard to read, but it was interesting to know more of Maven's character. I don't like him, I don't idolise him, I don't feel pity for him, but he's a very complex and sneaky villain (my favourite kind of antagonist). His obsession with Mare gave me chills.
Another flaw were the chapters from Cameron's pov. Boring, and I find her slightly annoying. I preferred her during the secon half of the book (maybe because she appeared less?).
Of the second half of the book I liked everything. Especially the action sequences. It felt like to be really there.
Mare Barrow has become badass. I love her a lot. Not even the imprisonment has dampened her strong personality.
If in the previous books Cal was indifferent to me, in this one I loved him (even though during the epilogue I got disappointed).
Another character I enjoyed is Evangeline. Her chapters made me understand more her situation and I feel so bad for her.
I'm so curious about princess Iris, I feel like I'll like her. How will the current situation evolve?
With the fourth book already on my bookshelf, in all its beauty, I can't wait to continue the series.

Czesc kiedy mare jest uwierzona jest dosc nuda. W sensie serio czasmi mi sie to ciezko czytalo. Tak naprawde akcja sie zaczela jak zostala uwolniona wgl tak duzo sie dzialo. Ale ja przepraszam bardzo co to ma byc za epilog, CAL WHEN I CATCH U. Nie no for sure NOT boyfriend of the year. Kolego wybral wladze nad mare zarty. Mam nadzieje ze to sie zmieni i bede potem razem i szczesliwi bo jak nie to pierodle to wszyskro kochani.
Ero partita con l'idea di aspettare maggio per poterlo leggere in italiano come tutti gli altri ma come faccio ad aspettare?! COME?!
L'unica nota positiva è che fino a quando non l'avrò letto l'ultima speranza per i Mareven non morirà..
