I hated both of the main characters, so it was very hard to be invested in their relationship throughout the book. They were both...weird.

DNF 25% - I just couldn't stand the main character and how quickly they went from strangers to lovers. It was so inauthentic and the MC's obsession with not telling anything was irritating. I love Kinsella's earlier books, but they're just bad in the past 10 years so I won't be trying again.

I love the aspects of finding yourself and your flaws by being able to hide behind a guise and slowly coming out of it.
Love Your Life is everything you would expect from a Sophie Kinsella novel: short, sweet, and swoony! Love Your Life centers around a unique concept: Ava meets the love of her life at a writer's retreat. Matt is a great guy (he could even be *the one*) but, when they get home from their unplanned romantic getaway they discover that they might not be so compatible after all. While their romantic chemistry is still there, their lives are so incompatible, it is hilarious. Ava and Matt want to make things work… but at what cost? Be sure to pick up this book if you are looking for a light and fun(ny) read!

This book was so weird. From beginning to end I was genuinely just confused. Main character was very unlikeable and frustrating. Unnecessary side plots, odd stream of events. Would not recommend.
It’s always such a delight to read a Sophie Kinsella book, and this was no exception! So quirky, charming and optimistic / positive, it’s the perfect light read.
