Love Your Life

Sophie Kinsella

Honestly, the Ava really drove me nuts. I am all for believing in love at first sight. Not depending on apps, sure, if that's what works for you, but she was a bit too delusional for me. Or maybe not delusional but naive. I just couldn't finish it. Especially when she starts noticing that Matt and her have some pretty big differences in lifestyle, and she just kept believing that with time he would change. I don't know, but that just made me stop and not pick up the book.

Another entertaining Women's Fiction read by Sophie Kinsella. This one had a fun cast of characters.
Kinsella's books do not pretend to be anything they aren't. They are quirky, light-hearted love stories that always end happily ever after, while the protagonist learns some important lessons along the way. Escapist fiction for sure, but I enjoy them.

I adore Sophie Kinsella. Her books are so funny, so light and so endearing. This one was great. I laughed out loud in places, smiled the whole way through and throughly loved the “Chick Lit” genre, even with the predictability.

Thank you to Edelweiss for the digital review copy.

I really enjoyed this one! It was refreshing to read about a couple who loved each other despite all the things they didn't have in common. Plus, it was written with Kinsella's usual humor and heart. This is a fun and light read that I definitely recommend!

Honestly, if you're looking for a light, romantic, at times funny beach read, don't look no further. Sophie truly is the queen of beach reads, I love her.

I loved this new novel from one of the queens of chick-lit! It was the perfect escape to London with one of her signature "clueless" main characters with adorable quirks, friends, and overall lifestyle. It was full of fun, women empowerment, love, and friendship. It was the PG-13 rom-com that I have been desperately craving. Read it!

This was so cute just like all her books. This book just gave me all the happy feelings. If you are having a bad day just pick up this book because it will brighten your day.

cute book!! thought it was kind of unrealistic how quickly they fell in love and how purposefully oblivious Ava wanted to be about their compatibility? But it wasn't even that part that bothered me because how are you ever ~compatible~ with someone- IT WAS THE LACK OF COMMUNICATION LOL.

But still a very nice light read!! Very Sophie Kinsella-esque.

Spoiler Ava and Matt meet on a writing retreat where they have to be anonymous. They like each other- have sex- fall in love- and then get back to London and realize their lifestyles are drastically different. He's the owner of Harriet's House which is this dollhouse company, she's a freelance copywriter and has a bajillion passions but never finishes any of them. They eventually break up because CMMUNICATION (he was going to move to japan even though he didnt want to but wouldnt stand up to his family about that, etc). Ava went back to the writing retreat and finished her book. Matt quit the company and ended up being partner with one of his best friends. Both of their best friend groups ended up merging together. they got back together, HAPPILY EVER AFTER V CUTE
