I am not the biggest fan of the author's writing because once the characters get into a relationship they become the mushiest guys ever. I actually liked Cash, he was so sweet. Declan was alright, I think that he was mean to Cash for no reason. I also really think that he was completely blind to what was going on, it shouldn't have taken him so long to figure out he was deliberately being sabotauged.

I have been dying for Cash and Declan to FINALLY get it together.  This story is so cute. I have to admit that I knew very little about the ACE spectrum before reading this book.  It was very informative while being highly entertaining  for me. Cash is hilarious.

RESTING BEACH FACE is the fourth and final book in the Swallow Cove series. It can be read as a standalone but reads so much better if read in the order that the order intended.

Cash is known as the playboy. Once he sets his sights on Declan he changes his ways in hopes of Declan being interested in him. What he doesn't know is that Declan doesn't really have clarification on his sexuality. Declan finds himself identifying as Ace and not knowing where that will leave him. He's more than prepared himself to be alone for the long haul. Everywhere Declan goes Cash is there. And the more he's around the more Declan is feeling some sort of way about him. When Cash finally lays his cards on the table he and Declan have a very honest conversation. Cash tries to understand where Declan is coming from about his sexuality and how he feels which honestly brings them closer. Declan feels more and more comfortable around Cash and his confidence soars. Being with Cash has Declan more sure about who he is and that he can be loved exactly like his is.

I love this two and they were the perfect way to end this series. And set us up for the next series! I loved how Cash did everything he could to understand where Declan was coming from and be the man he needed him to be. And Declan letting Cash in was so hard for Declan but once he felt that attraction and was able to communicate his needs and wants Cash became everything he needed and wanted.

I can't wait for what's next!

I was given a free copy of this book to read and review for Neon Rainbow.

***ARC Review***

This is my honest and voluntary review for the ARC I received.

Can I just say that I have loved every single title in the Swallow Cove series?! I’ve been waiting to see what transpires between Cash and Declan and Jamison certainly delivered in this story. I love a good grumpy/sunshine pairing! Cash is usually the flirty and flippant one in the group of friends in this series, but Jamison gives us a more vulnerable and sincere side to him in this story. There are more layers to Cash than meets the eye. His home life is less than ideal and he deals with it in a way that works for him.

Cash has had a crush on Declan for a couple of years. He thinks that showcasing his many lovers will get Declan to feel something towards him, (even if it’s to only get under his skin), but all it does is make Declan doubt whether or not he can give Cash want he wants/needs. (I really appreciated the gray ace rep in this story, btw). Cash is a really affectionate person and Declan is a bit more reserved.

The journey from a one-sided frostiness to friends to lovers to boyfriends progresses in a relatable and natural way in this book. I really adore the open communication and honesty between Cash and Declan in this story. Despite Declan’s initial reservations, Cash’s persistence pays off in the end for the MCs. The pair develop a really strong connection. It was lovely to see a mutual respect and trust bloom between Declan and Cash.

It was great seeing other characters from the series in this book too. I definitely laughed out loud at some moments and wanted to give out hugs during others. This is definitely a captivating read from start to finish. Cash and Declan’s journey to love is super sweet. You will absolutely cheer Cash and Declan on as they navigate their way to a wonderfully cute HEA!
