I really enjoyed this, it was very reflective, and a lot of internal monologuing. But it was well written as always and both uplifting and heartbreaking

Postscript (P.S. I Love You book 2)
I wasn’t sure what to expect with this one. I loved PS I Love You and it legit ripped my heart out many years ago when I read it and then watched the movie, so I wasn’t sure what to expect from Postscript.
This was a slow burn for me but it was also an emotional rollercoaster. It’s 7 years later and Holly still misses Gerry dearly, but she’s trying to be move on with her life.
She has been dating Gabriel and he wants to take the next step. She’s helping her sister run her vintage store, when her sister asks her to come on a podcast to discuss death and grieving.
What Holly didn’t know about the podcast was that it was going to bring terminally ill people into her life and help her grow as a person, while helping the terminally ill leave behind messages for their loved ones to help their loved ones with closure.
Each story of each person in the PS I Love You Club that was ill was heartbreakingly beautiful and taught Holly - and myself important life lessons.
This was a beautifully written story about loss, love, friendship, moving forward and kindness.
“Life is light, dying is darkness, death is light again. Full circle.”
Thank you @grandcentralpub for a copy for my honest review.

Postscript - Cecelia Ahern.
(PS I Love You sequel = VERY high expectations).
It's been seven years since Holly Kennedy's husband died – six since she read his final letter. But when a group inspired by Gerry's letters, calling themselves the PS, I Love You Club, approaches Holly asking for help, she finds herself drawn back into a world that she worked so hard to leave behind.
Ok so..... I enjoyed reading this book let’s start with that, I would have read it in two sittings if I hadn’t been so busy last week! It’s Cecelia Ahern, she’s my go to for an easy enjoyable story that I can fall into! Yes we get a great array of characters that have depth and backgrounds, yes we get emotional scenes and yes we get laugh out loud scenes! But, and I’m sorry there’s a but, it didn’t live up to my expectations as a follow up to Ps I Love You

The sequel to PS I Love You. It picks up about 6/7 years after the first book. I enjoyed parts of this story and other parts I didn’t enjoy.
