Had so much promise with such a unique concept, just messy
I really liked this book and I was a little surprised by that. I’d heard it compared to other books I didn’t really love (Quicksilver and Crescent City) and I can sort of see why but I liked these characters much more than those in the comparison books. My only hesitation is that the plot was a little messy in places. Sometimes I would wonder about where things were headed and then something would happen that didn’t really jive with the story. In other words. I could tell it was a debut book BUT it was interesting, I liked the characters and it has great potential as the series develops.
Y’all I fear I have fallen in love with a ghost.

This book creates a completely new world and concepts for me. Unlike anything I’ve read before.
