I fell in love with Ari and Dante. I think this is the first time I feel so quickly in love with two characters in such a short book. Would 100% recommend it to anyone who asked.

 A beautiful and amazing book. The characters are amazing and complex, and I'm sure everyone relates to at least one of them. Ari is a great protagonist, and his narration is mostly very casual and relatable, which I think is what makes him look like an actual teenager. Aside from that, I think his narration is also beautiful. There's a lot of symbolism and secrets hidden in it, and some details of certain events are skipped on purpose, because not even he is completely sure of what they make him feel. Incredibly well-crafted and timeless story. Even though it's set in 1987, it can definitely relate to how many of us feel nowadays, really capturing what it feels like to grow up and be a teenager nashe
