Ari and Dante discover they’re gay in the 1970s. Ari has more difficulty coming to terms with it than Dante.

So this is one that has been on my tbr forever, and I'm so glad that I finally got around to reading it. At first I thought this would be a solid 2-3 stars, but then it got really, really good. I love Ari and Dante, and I especially loved living in Ari's head as he narrated the story. And my God, I love both of their parents. In the beginning, I was really worried their parents would be homophobic and mean, but they were so sweet and pure!!! All in all, solid 4 stars, and a great read!

SO GOOD!!!!! I've been meaning to read this and man, I'm so glad I did! It's such a powerful read. The writing is stellar, the characters develop so well and the love story is so refreshing! I am dying for the newly announced sequel. You know I'll be first in line!

This would have been hard if I didn't have a background in Spanish, but it was FANTASTICAL. I love this book!!!!

Kurczę to było tak piękne i prawdziwe, że aż nie wiem co powiedzieć. Arystotelesie zostaniesz w moim sercu na zawsze, Dante dziękuję, że z nim wytrzymałeś.
Polecam ją dla każdego. Mogłabym naklejać znaczniki na każdą stronę tak dużo było w tej książce głębokich przemyśleń i spraw z którymi zmaga się każdy z nas. Przepiękna historia nieśmiałej i niezrozumiałej miłości, która zdarza się tylko raz.
Już wiem na co wydam pieniądze - na drugą część!!!
