Loved the uniqueness of Dan and Keira’s relationship. Skipped a bit of the 3rd act breakup bc i couldn’t handle the angst but loved it anyhow!

This was a fun book. I am still deciding how I feel about Weatherspoon’s writing style overall. I found it kind of perfunctory here and I can’t tell if that has more to do with the characters and their banter of the author’s style. I liked getting to know Keira and Daniel and seeing them get together. It was cute and steamy at once which is always a good combo for me. I like getting to see more of The Club as well.

This was OK. I feel like Weatherspoon's writing has matured over time and each title in the Fit series improves a bit but given all the other books where BDSM figures heavily in the plot/relationship, this was mediocre at best.
Having said that, I was most looking forward to reading this from the description because Keira is a sci-fi nerd who cosplays so that was fun but their conflict seemed poorly developed....maybe if the story was longer than 10 chapters it would have felt fully baked.
Having sampled Weatherspoon's writing with this trilogy and Rafe where POC are featured, I'm not sure if it's that her writing has matured in the 4 years that these books span or it's that she's writing from her own experience in Rafe as a black woman but it felt like the hero/ines of colour in Fit were token in the sense that she wanted to write about diverse characters but I didn't get the sense that she truly understood what it meant to be Asian....in Rafe though, the small detail about the twins and their complicated relationship with their hair, and how they reacted to their white father touching their hair at the part, which I don't personally understand, but I get the sense is a huge no-no, felt real.

Like it's predecessor this has funny snarky dialogue and great characters, but I also really liked the way it dealt with The Lifestyle - and what happens when someone starts dating someone outside of if and how they negotiate a relationship where what has previously been a big part of their life seems to be off the table - and may infact have negative ramifications. Interesting as well as steamy/sexy.

Tweetcap: Kinky, one-handed, Korean pyrotechnician falls for vanilla, geeky, black fitness instructor. Hot sexy times ensue. Perhaps my fav tweetcap so far.

I kind of loved this. Short, dirty, and fun.

Phenomenal book if you’re looking for an introduction to kink centric spice that isn’t strictly about a dom & sub relationship.
