Daniel is by far my favorite of the men in this trilogy although the relationship between these two blooms incredibly fast. On a second read, I still really enjoy it but feel like chunks of the story are missing because of the length. I don’t know much about them outside of fandom/kink and that’s the point obviously, but it’s not satisfying.

I thought I was gonna be reading about some folks that hooked up with their personal trainers.  I didn't realize going into this that I would be getting a VERY CLEAR VIEW into the Dominant, Submissive, Club lifestyle.  All in all this trip through Rebekah Weatherspoon's early work was enjoyable.

The heroine is Black, enthusiastically geeky, and athletic.

The hero is Korean-American, disabled, and a switch in a polyamorous "family" relationship.

I like how the characters were clearly ethnically diverse and also clearly had a complex mixture of characteristics that made them seem like real people. (Especially remarkable since this was just a novella!)

It's fun to watch them fall for each other, because there are actual lifestyle obstacles for them to overcome -- which they resolve through the magical powers of communication and a willingness to try. Also, they're hilarious and adorable, so I was rooting for them the whole time.

I'm planning to pick up the first two books in the series. Weatherspoon is now on my auto-consider-buying list.

I really liked the last installment in this series. It dealt with a few other topics than the other two stories but it was still fun.

Was this one shorter? It felt too short. Or maybe I was just that desperate for more of these two. Keira and Daniel are adorable <3 <3 <3

This was much more my speed, at least until we got to the Christmas party and all of that conflict was pretty anxiety-provoking for me. But I did like the disability representation and Keira’s character. It’s just too bad that Grant and especially Armando kept popping in!

I think I figured out why this series isn’t working for me though after Beards & Bondage: it’s the romance (or lack of it). Having characters I liked helped too, but the Beards & Bondage series had more of those traditional tropes and I believed in their connection more. The driver of the story wasn’t the sex, it was just a continuation of their connection. In the Fit series, the driver is the sex, which is not as satisfying for me when I don’t see much else there.

I liked all three books in the Fit Trilogy, but Sated was hands down my favorite. Five stars for sure. The only way it could have been better was if it were a novel instead of a novella! (Because I need more nerds in love, thank you very much.)

Keira and Daniel worked so well together. I loved how much Daniel liked listening to Keira just talk about the things she liked and how willing he was to do whatever made her happy. Keira was great. She was nerdy, and talkative, and overall just super relatable. So much of her journey was embracing her own sexuality and getting to explore things she'd never been comfortable enough with someone else to explore. And Daniel was perfectly open and accepting of everything.

Of the three Fit books, Sated takes the deepest dive into the BDSM community. Daniel is a very active member in his BDSM club - it's not just something he does, it's what defines him. When he makes the decision to date Keira, he thinks he has to make the choice between his community and his girlfriend, even as Keira embraces BDSM and comes into her own. Both Daniel and Keira are switches, and I really enjoyed getting to see them in both roles throughout the story.

Were there times I wanted to Gibbs slap Daniel? Yes. But what's Romance without a little angst?

I love Keira and Daniel. Actually, I love this whole trilogy, but I think Keira and Daniel are my favorite characters from it. Also I find that, even if some of the sex wasn't for me, I absolutely love the people. Another thing I love about this series is that even though it is about people in BDSM, it's not scary. Sometimes, you read or see something involving BDSM and you can't help but think "Oh dear god, why?!" I don't find that to be the case with the series. In fact, I like that the author does a good job of showing a healthy relationship between two consenting adults who have feelings for each other and not just people who are looking to hurt or embarrass each other.

I think my only dislike was the very end because, even though I knew there was a bit of a time jump, it seemed like Keira flipped a switch and became dominatrix extraordinaire and I liked the way they were before.
