Really could've done without the HP references, for obvious reasons, but also because I just hate constant pop culture references in books. It's unoriginal and only ever relatable to a fraction of the population.

I enjoyed this book quite a bit but had one problem with it. Who takes a cat across the world for a short trip?! Obviously this is fiction so it isn't a big deal and did not stop me from enjoying the story but it feels like the only reason the cat came was so she could put a cat on the cover. The story itself was interesting and well paced.
